Willadele Givens is an American comedian, actress and writer. Givens began her career in comedy in the latter half of the 1980s. Her TV appearances include The Hughleys and Moesha as well as Comedy Central Presents Def Comedy Jam, Russell Simmons Presents Def poetry, Martin, Tracey Takes on... and Comedy Central Presents Def Comedy Jam. Givens was also the 1989 Grand Prize winner of the Crown Royal Comedy Contest at the Regal Theater in Chicago. Givens was also a finalist for the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1992, which Bernie Mac won. She's been in movies such as The Players Club, Beauty Shop and more. The Queens of Comedy Tour included Givens, Mo'Nique Hayes, Laura Hayes, and Sommore as African American female comedians. The tour was produced by Showtime and later made available on DVD. She hosted The Source's Hip Hip Awards Preshow in 2001. It was broadcast on UPN. Adele appeared on Kanye West’s hit track "I Love It" on September 7, 2018. Lil Pump was the American rapper. Adele performed the song on Saturday Night Live September 29, 2018, but Adele did not perform on the stage. She appeared on the screen wearing the same dress she was wearing in her music video.
