Adamari Lopez Torres (born May 18, 1971) is a Puerto Rican actress known for appearing in a variety of Puerto Rican and Mexican soap operas. She is currently a host on the Telemundo morning show Hoy Dia and is a Latina ambassador for WW which was previously called weight Watchers.The daughter of an undertaker, Luis Lopez, Adamari started her career at the age of six in the Telemundo Canal 2 production of the Cristina Bazan soap opera, which also featured famous Puerto Rican actress Johanna Rosaly and Venezuelan singer Jose Luis Rodriguez, El Puma.Her talents indicated that she was destined to become a celebrity. WAPA-TV next chose her to portray Iris Chacon and Daniel Guerrero's daughter "Jenny" in Yo se que mentia. Lopez was an actor for children who played an important supporting role in the film. Lopez became famous after her brief appearance on Vivir Para Ti in 1983. Lopez then decided to devote herself to her studies. She has an B.A. She has an B.A. in communication from the University of the Sacred Heart.
