Abigail Haight Huntsman, born May 1, 1986 is an American journalist. The daughter of former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman Jr. and Mary Kaye Huntsman, Huntsman rose to prominence as host of MSNBC as well as NBC News. From September 2018 through January 2020, Huntsman was an all-purpose reporter on Fox News Channel. Later she joined the co-hosting team on Fox & Friends Weekend. Huntsman hosted The View on the ABC talk show The View from September 2018 until January 2020.Abigail Haight Huntsman was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.She grew up in Utah however, she spent a lot of time living in Asia, including Taiwan and Singapore.Huntsman graduated from East High School and attended the University of Utah for her freshman year, while her father ran for governor. Then she moved to the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and political science. At 16 years old, Huntsman worked a behind-the-scenes position on Good Morning America. By her own admission, she disliked it so much that she contemplated giving up on television "forever".While attending the University of Pennsylvania, Huntsman worked as an intern for Diane Sawyer. Huntsman was impressed by Sawyer's presentation of herself and the way she went about broadcasting the news. She later said, "I always think about her as someone I hope to emulate."
