A. J. Langer

 Allison Joy Courtenay, nee Langer was born on 22 May, 1974. She is also referred to as A. J. Langer. Rayanne Graff was her role in the television show My So-Called Life. She is the daughter of Deana Langer as an audiologist and Gary Langer who worked as sales representative for an online fashion retailer. Her move to the San Fernando Valley with her family when she was five. When she joined an all-boys baseball team at age eight, her teammates considered the name "Allison" as being too feminine, and began calling her by her initials "A.J. "She has one older brother, Kirk.After recurring roles on several television shows, including The Wonder Years, Baywatch and Drexell's class, Langer was cast as Rayanne Graff on My So-Called Life. She was also a part of the cast of sitcoms It's Like, You Know... and Three Sisters as well as the drama series Eyes. Her film appearances include John Carpenter's Escape From L.A. and the horror film of Wes Craven, People Under the Stairs.In 2011, following a six-year acting hiatus, Langer appeared in 14 episodes of Private Practice in the recurring role of Erica Warner. She left the show in 2012 due to the demise of her character.
