Tony Robbins

 Anthony Jay Robbins (ne Mahavoric, born February 29, 1960) is an American author and coach, as well as a speaker and philanthropist. He is known for his informational videos, seminars as well as self-help and self-help books, such as the two books Unlimited Power and Awaken the Giant WithinRobbins was born Anthony J. Mahavoric in North Hollywood, California, on February 29th, 1960.Robbins is the eldest of three children and his parents separated when he was seven years old. He is of Croatian origin from both families. His mother remarried many times, including with Jim Robbins (a former semi-professional baseball player who adopted Anthony at 12 years old). Robbins gained 10 inches each year during high school. The growth spurt was later attributed to the pituitary tumor. Robbins has said that his life at home was chaotic and abusive. When he turned 17 years old, he left his home and did not return. Robbins was later employed as a janitor and was not a college student. Robbins asked his landlord one of his relatives who helped him become so successful. After attending a Jim Rohn seminar, the landlord explained to him this was the way he started to transform his life
