Spencer Rattler

 The Oklahoma Sooners have been riding with freshman Caleb Williams since the second portion of the Texas comeback win.Williams isn't doing much to evenly open the door to the quarterback Spencer Rattler to resume the lead role of the offense.Rattler was the highest-rated quarterback at Phoenix Pinnacle High School in the 2019 class as one of three quarterbacks analyzed during his senior season in the Netflix documentary "QB1: Beyond the Lights," is waiting out the season to figure out the next move.Mike Giovando Rattler's personal QB coach since his time in the sixth grade, who still is in contact with him and keeps in touch and is one of Rattler's closest confidantes.He offered insight into what Rattler's future might look like"Yeah Spencer is doing what he's supposed do in Oklahoma," Giovando said in the form of a text. "Just wait the season out and, if and when his number is called and he's ready.But I mean, of course it's unlikely that he'll play after this season. It's a simple decision. The decision to declare for the draft or find another school remains to be determined. We'd like to keep receiving feedback from our students about where they might fall in the draft. The primary ambition is to become an early-round selection one day, so he will do what's best in the end so he can achieve that objective.
