Ermias Aghedom, 15 August, 1985 - March 31, 2019, also known as Nipsey was an American businessman and rapper who became famous in 2018 thanks to Victory Lab. Nipsey began his professional career in the middle of 2000s and released a number of hit mixtapes such as Slauson Boy Volume 1, Bullets Ain't Got No Name and The Marathon. He was a household name and received his first Grammy nomination with his debut album, released in the year 2018. His label All Money In No Money Out (2010) was his first venture. He received his first Grammy nomination in 2018 and two posthumous Grammys. He was famous for his charitable work within the Crenshaw community. He was born in Los Angeles on August 15, 1985. He was the son of Angelique Smith and Eritrean immigrant Dawit Asghedom and his family, he was raised in Crenshaw the neighborhood just south of Los Angeles, with his siblings Samiel and Samantha. He was a student at Hamilton High School but dropped out prior to graduating. Since he was little he looked for a way to help around the house, and as time passed, he was able to work selling different products in the street.
