John McEnroe

 John Patrick McEnroe Jr. (born on the 16th of February, 1959) is an American former professional tennis player. His shot-making and volleying abilities as well as his rivalries with Bjorn Borg, Jimmy Conners, as well as his exuberant court behavior were among his most notable attributes. He is the sole male tennis player who been crowned the world's No. McEnroe is the only male player to hold both the doubles and singles world No. 1 . ranking. There was only one male player, Stefan Edberg, ever achieved No. 1. in both, though at different dates. McEnroe's career ended with the singles title 77 times and the doubles doubles titles on the ATP Tour; this is the highest total men's Open Era combined. He is the sole male player to win over 70 titles in both the men's singles as well as the doubles category for men. He was awarded 25 singles titles during the ATP Champions tour. He took home seven Grand Slam singles titles (four at the US Open and three at Wimbledon) and nine Grand Slam men's doubles titles (five at Wimbledon and four at the US Open), and one Grand Slam mixed doubles title (at the French Open). His singles match record of 82-3 was the highest single-season win rate in the Open Era.
