Augustus Cornelius Johnson Jr. was born in 1967/1968 and is a American sportscaster. Johnson is Fox Sports' lead play-by–play announcer, who broadcasts college basketball and football games. His birthplace was in Detroit. In 1985 when he graduated, he attended the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy. He was an all-league captain and quarterback for the football team. He also served as an MVP, co-captain as well as a shooting guard on the basketball team. He also served as an oblique catcher, first baseman, and pitcher for the team of baseball.
