She was Rachel Chu, an economics professor at New York University who falls in love with Nick Young (played here by Henry Golding). Wu revealed that there's some momentum regarding the sequel to the rom-com and filming is on the minds of the producers. In addition, she shared a cute nugget about her friendship with Awkwafina who played Rachel's closest friend Goh Peik Lin in the film of 2018.
