Ben Roethlisberger

The Steelers drafted him by the Pittsburgh Steelers as the heir apparent to Tommy Maddox, Ben Rothelisberger wound up taking the NFL with him during the 2004 season. Rothelisberger was elevated to the starting quarterback position after Maddox was injured during Pittsburgh's second-week loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The Steelers' season was forever changed. He was dubbed Big Ben due to an massive build that was unique for quarterbacks, the player took the lead in his first official start in week three of 2004, and won again during week four. The Steelers and the player continued to win and, in the blink of an eye, the Steelers became a major force in the AFC. This came after an awful 2003 season. The streak ended in the half-hour mark when Rothelisberger played the Steelers to a 34-20 victory which gave Pittsburgh the advantage in the AFC. Rothelisberger handed the Philidelphia Eagles 27-3 defeat on Sunday the Eagles' first loss in the league. This resulted in the Terrell Owens-Donovan McNabb controversy.
