Anson Williams is an American actor, singer, and director, best known for playing "Potsie," a crucial character in the tv show "Happy Days. Born to a Jewish family living in Los Angeles, California, Anson wanted to be an athlete in his high school time. He was a member of the track team when he was at Burbank High School. In the end, he was attracted to singing and started taking singing lessons following his graduation from high school. He began performing in local bars and clubs. His acting debut came in the 1970s , with small roles on shows such as 'Love, American Style' or The Paul Lynde Show'. He made his acting breakthrough in 1974 when he played the part of Potsie Weber in the show"Happy Days. The sitcom was a massive commercial and critical success. But, to today, it is Anson's sole major acting venture. He didn't trust his acting instincts enough and decided to focus on direction in the mid-1980s. As director, he's primarily worked in TV projects. He has directed numerous TV films like 'Dream date", 'Little Lies' and several episodes of "Star Trek: Voyager".
