Lesley Judd, born 20 December 1946, is a popular English television presenter and dancer. She was the daughter of Leslie T. Judd, and Hilda Madeline Haddock. Judd attended Tring Park's independent Arts Educational School (Hertfordshire). She was Clara in the BBC Television version of Heidi in 1959. The schoolgirl also appeared in Z-Cars' episode "Person Unknown" (14 November 1962). 2. Judd was the first dancer to make an appearance on BBC TV's The Language of Love, 1964. She was among the "childrendancers" on Gillian Lynne's BBC2 show Hey Riddle Diddle, starring Roy Castle & Nelson Riddle. She was a hostess on the Associated-Rediffusion game show Exit! Ed Stewart hosts the Way-Out Show. Judd first appeared on the Rolf Harris Show in 1967 as part of The Young Generation, but she quit her contract. The BBC contract department was furious when Judd was given the BBC presenter job and claimed that her contract was "watertight".
