Cris Collinsworth was a former American professional football player and broadcaster. Born in Ohio, Cris started playing football as a teenager, even becoming an All-American quarterback. After being accepted into college on an athletic scholarship Cris played college football and was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals after graduation. He spent his entire eight-year career in the 'National Football League (NFL). After his retirement from the NFL was announced, he began a new career as an sports broadcaster. He is a television sportscaster for NBC, Showtime, and the NFL Network. He is the co-founder of Pro Football Focus, an online sports statistics monitoring service.
