Jeffrey Marshall "Jeff" Foxworthy is a stand-up comedian and actor who rose to fame for his 'You could be a redneck one-liners. Foxworthy is not just a TV or comic. He is also the best-selling author of more than 26 books. The career of Foxworthy spans 25 years and he has recorded six comedy albums. Two of these were multi-platinum in America. As the child of an IBM executive and a former IBM executive, he was inspired to follow in the footsteps of his father and pursue working in the corporate world, however, as fate would have it, he happened to participate in the 'Great Southeastern Laugh-off' that was held at Atlanta's Punchline comedy club. He was inspired by his success and decided to take on comedy, and left his position as an executive in a company. He is now regarded as one of the top-selling comedians and has been nominated for the Grammy Award. He also stepped into the world of television and launched his own sitcom The Jeff Foxworthy Show. He also hosted "Are You Smarter than 5th Grader as well as a number of other shows on television that increased his popularity dramatically. He is a member of one of the most successful comedy tours ever The Blue Collar Comedy Tour, which also features Larry the Cable Guy and Ron White as its members.
