 Jessica Simpson, a talented artist that is universally attractive, has become a world-renowned media sensation and a global star. She has taken the entertainment, fashion and music industry to the forefront. Jessica became famous due to her distinctive voice, and she has released eight smash albums. She has starred on the big and small screens with notable roles on television shows such as That 70's Show, Fashion Star and the Price of Beauty and films like Dukes of Hazzard, Employee of the Month and Blonde Ambition. Jessica Simpson Collection, which began around a decade ago has been a huge success as a designer/entrepreneur. The collection has expanded to include over 36 categories of merchandise and is sold all over the world.Jessica Ann Simpson was born and raised in Abilene, Texas, to Tina Simpson (nee Drew) and Joe Simpson, who is a psychologist as well as a Baptist youth pastor. Her career in performing began when she was performing on stage with gospel legends like Ce Ce Winans, God's property and Kirk Franklin. Tommy Mottola, Columbia Records executive, was drawn to Jessica's distinctive voice and her pop sound. After touring with the boy-band 98 Degrees in support, Jessica was able to make waves in the music industry in 1999 when she released Sweet Kisses, her debut album. Jessica's first hit single "I I Want To Love You Forever" which was confirmed as double platinum by RIAA, debuted at #3 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.
