Jack Nicholson, an American actor, producer, director and screenwriter He is three-time Academy Award winner and twelve-time nominee. Nicholson is also famous for being one of just two actors (the other being Michael Caine) who have been awarded Oscar nominations for every decade from the 1960s to the in the '00s. Nicholson was born in Neptune on the 22nd of April 1937. His mother, June Frances Nicholson (a showgirl) was his mother. Nicholson believed his sister June Frances was his brother. In 1975, a Time magazine journalist was investigating an article about him, and came across the truth. The father of his real name is believed to have been or Donald Furcillo, an Italian American showman, or Eddie King (Edgar Kirschfeld), born in Latvia and working in show business. His mother's heritage was Irish as well as smaller portions of English, German, Scottish, and Welsh.Nicholson made his film debut in a B-movie called The Cry Baby Killer (1958). His career did not see a rapid climb to fame in Hollywood. In the years that followed it was a struggle to keep his name in the spotlight through guest appearances on TV and in a few Roger Corman films including The Little Shop of Horrors (1960).
