American actor Emily Mallory Procter can be present in American television and film. She earned a journalism degree and worked as a weather forecaster in the industry of entertainment. Supported by her father, she began taking acting classes and started appearing in roles of a small but significant size in hit television shows like 'Friends' as well as "Lois & Clark'. She made her big screen debut in in the Oscar Award-winning film 'Leaving Las Vegas' and, the following year, worked alongside Tom Cruise, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Renee Zellweger in 'Jerry Maguire'. 1999 proved to be a busy year for the talented thespian as she acted in parts in supporting roles in four different films.
