RaaShaun Casey, a.k.a as D.J. Envy, born September 3 1977, is a music producer and radio show host, commentator as well as a D.J., best known for hosting "The Breakfast Club." Envy made a name for himself as one of New York City's premier mixtape producers. Envy premiered freestyles from 50 Cent, Jay-Z and Fabulous in the mid 2000s. Envy won the Justo Mixtape Award three times for his work, and was awarded the Most influential Radio D.J. In 2008, Envy received the Most Influential Radio D.J. Award. He is also a real estate broker and has worked with many big brands such as Reebok, Foot Locker and Sprite.D.J. Envy Also called RaaShaun Cassy, was born in Queens, New York, on September 3, 1977. When he was in his teens Envy was enthralled by disc jockeying, and was a part of the mixtape scene towards the middle of the 1990s. Casey was known as D.J. Shrimp rose through the ranks performing in music clubs and at concerts throughout New York. He dropped "The Desert Storm Mixtape": D.J. in 2003. Envy-Block Party, Vol. 1," which made it to the 57th spot on the "Billboard Top 200." The commercial success of the mixtape expanded his audience, and he even got to mix tracks once a month for Hot 97 radio's "Takin' It to the Streets" show. As an D.J., Casey became the most popular voice in New York on hip-hop. He also hosted a morning show. He also played on radio programs Sirius X.M. He also mixed on radio shows like Sirius X.M. and Power 105 radio.
