American politician and actress Diane Neal. She has garnered popularity as the character Casey Novak in the TV series 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.' She is also known for her character of Coast Guard Investigative Service Special Agent Abigail Borin in the NCIS television franchise. Neal, originally from Virginia has always wanted to be a success in the glamour world. Neal began modeling at the age of 18 and then quit school to further her education. In 2001 she was the first actress to make her debut on an episode of Ed. She had her big screen debut two years later in the 2003 film 'Second born'. In the first season she was the guest star on SVU. Then, she was offered the role of Novak during the season's fifth. Because of her performance in SVU, Neal was nominated for a Prism Award in 2007. In 2010, she was a regular on 'NCIS' and then started to appear in the spin-off 'NCIS: New Orleans. She also played the role of Allison Holt on 'Suits' and Cynthia Sheridan on 'Power'.
