Cassidy Freeman, an American musician and actor. She studied theater and Spanish She began her career as a casting director for an ensemble of theater. Cassidy also branched out into acting, making her debut with short films. Despite her initial film appearances, Cassidy rose to prominence through her TV appearances. Cassidy initially starred in a handful of TV films and was in an episode of a 'CBS series,' but she was able to land the role of 'Tess the Mercer' on 'Smallville'. It was' her first main role. The character earned Cassidy numerous awards, and she subsequently bagged other roles in various series such as 'CSI, The Playboy Club,' 'The Vampire Diaries NCIS,"Stitchers," and NCIS: New Orleans.' She also appeared in prominent characters in 'Longmire' and Doubt.' Cassidy is a prolific musician, too. She performs as part of a rock band she had together with her brother. Cassidy is associated with the charities 'Heal the Bay' & 'Virginia Avenue Project.
